The cultivation of this rare ‘micro DOC’ has been documented since the 14th century. Just over 30 hectares of it in total cover a stretch of high hills in the province of Imperia, where the mountains reach the sea.
This special micro-climate gives the wine authentic and rare characteristics.
Our Ormeasco Lupi wine come from our Pornassio vineyard and is aged in steel for 12 months in the historic Lupi winery in Pieve di Teco, a pioneer in perfecting the Ormeasco grape variety.
