An ancient Ligurian grape variety, clone of Moscato bianco, which becomes even softer and aromatic in Liguria.
As one of the most famous Ligurian wines, it was tasted in European and papal courts as early as 1400.
Over the centuries, its traces were almost completely lost due to the destructive phylloxera. Regione Liguria and the University of Turin’s intense collaboration efforts are today contributing to return it to its former glory.
